Spellbound was commissioned by Black Swamp Percussion in 2024 to feature the sounds and orchestrations of Black Swamp instruments. The MultiBass drum and brand new Sound Plates are featured as the key instruments in the work. Blending sounds of metal, wood and drums in a groove that spins in and out of mixed meters and subdivisions. The title is inspired by my wife's Harry Potter collectables from the special edition books to Funko Pops.
