'At a Distance' is a percussion ensemble work for 4+ players with flexible instrumentation.
There are 4 written parts and each player chooses 3 percussion instruments to play. The parts can be doubled or tripled as needed for your ensemble. Instrument selection should be graduated in pitch, however, deviation from pitch graduation is certainly welcomed. The exploration of found percussive sounds and electronic instruments that are percussive in nature is encouraged. I hope you enjoy performing 'At a Distance.'
